Unlock codes?
I have two cingular phones and I need the unlock codes for them. I know I have to call Cingular and ask for them, but my question is:
Do I have to be an existing Cingular customer for them to give me the code or can I just ask for them? (I am currently a T-mobile customer and I want to use a T-mobile sim card in one of the Cingular phones)

If you were a former Cingular customer and your account was in good standing when you left you can call 1-800-331-0500 and request the codes. If they were bought at full retail you would need proof of purchase. If all else fails, tell them you you got them at a yard sale.
